Problem and Solution

We have been working away all week to find a solution to a problem that our assemblers ran into involving furutech 1/4 inch connectors. The cable just will not fit into the butt end of the connectors. I was not pleased with the solution they came up with originally, which left the connector rather flimsy. 

 

The solution was to order a number of Cardas 1/4 inch connectors, and drill out the butt end of the shell to allow for a larger diameter opening for the cable to go into.

 

All current orders involving 1/4 inch connectors are being terminated properly by our assembly team as we speak, and will be ready to ship on Monday morning.  

 

We apologize for the delay once again, and will have those orders shipped first thing Monday morning. 

 

Update

I just wanted to post another status update to keep all of our valued customers in the loop. We have product in stock on premises now! Product photos will be appearing on the website in the catalog throughout tonight and tomorrow. Also, all orders previously placed will be filled and shipped by tomorrow. We ask that customers bare with us as we have a large number of orders to fill and we want to make sure that we get them right and manage to avoid any cases of shipping the wrong product to anyone. As soon as an order is shipped, the customer will receive an email with the tracking # and estimated arrival date.

Fortunate Turn of Events

I will not get into details, however, I will say that it appears I caught Fedex putting false information on our brokerage forms, which I did not give them permission to use. Upon calling them on this, I found that my package was immediately released from customs, and was delivered to me this afternoon. 

 

Long story short, the news posting from this morning can be ignored, there is no delays to be had. Product photos will be up on the site by tonight, and any orders that are pending will be shipped tomorrow! 

   

Unfortunate Turn of Events

Due to an unfortunate turn of events which are completely out of our control, customs has decided to hold our shipment of our new product for further inspection. Because of this, all currently placed orders are being forced to be placed on hold for anywhere up to 3 weeks from now, as that is the maximum amount of time that customs is permitted to hold our package for. 

 

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience, and will update the news postings here on the website as soon as we hear that our shipment has been released by customs. 

 

Product Availability Update

The arrival of our new line of products has been delayed by ~7 days. We are now expecting them to arrive in our possession and ready to ship to customers, as well as populate our catalog with product photos, on Monday, August 23. We apologize for the delay, and share your enthusiasm and excitement towards their new arrival date 6 days from now!
